Here come the judge!
Tomorrow I go out to Prince George's Community College to take the required classes to be an election judge. Come September, I get to be one of the officials who make you wait in long lines while you try to vote. I did this before a couple of times in Arlington County.
On serving from about 5 AM to 10PM on the day of the Primary election, the county will send me a check for $200 plus $50 for taking the training class. Then serving in the General election is another $200. Arlington County was maybe a little less time, and they only paid $130.
Hey, I can use the money, and I'm often having that kind of schedule anyway.
